Just about a year ago I painted my front entry door with Rust-Oleum's Door Paint in Black.  I was pretty hesitant at first because I wanted to be sure the door would fully cure prior to shutting it for the evening.   The front door is a basic six panel aluminum door with no bells or whistles.  Just the way my husband likes it.  Me, I may have tried to convince him to buy a new one with a decorative scroll and new hardware, but with the economy the way it is... I thought it would be best to repaint and keep the spending under $20.  Well, a year later and the sheen on the black satin is still visible, the door did not fade and I was able to close the door that evening before bed.  Rust-Oleum's Door Paint dries faster than standard Stops Rust brand for quicker door mounting, provides fade-resistant color and durable protection against all of the elements.  Door Paint is not only ideal for metal doors, but wood and fiberglass as well.   The quart size is also the perfect size for two coats and just a hair left over for touch ups- just in case which I did not ever need to do - with 7 popular colors such as Black, Cranberry, Vermont Green and Dark Brown - your choice can be just about endless with 4 tint bases which leads to over 44 tintable colors!    Since I was painting my garage entry back door...I did check on the front door and found that sharing this product was a win/win as well.  If you have the time and your front doors needs a bit of TLC, spend the $20 and revive that front door!

Angie's philosophy is simple: take on projects that are affordable and easily achievable. Look for inspiration in magazines and make the projects your own. Hers are real projects for real people and they don't require you to have a background in art. Test
