Our first dresser is from Country Home - March 2005 - "Makeover of the Month" - This perfect shade of blue dresser goes from drab to dining room fab in an instant! This vintage dresser's bones were solid, but needed a bit of TLC - with a good sanding, cracks filled with wood putty or caulk, a coating of primer, new drawer pulls and casters - They have now transformed this dresser into a gracious dining room console with tons of storage! Check out the before picture:

Painter's Touch has two great shades of the blue on this dresser - Blue Sky and a darker variation Spa Blue. To keep to a budge friendly makeover, ask for leftover marble for the perfect top!

Our second favorite was featured in Home Companion - April/May 2007 "This We Like" category - this dresser has a "Wow" factor, and can be all yours for a mere $2,300 but with our inspiration, you can revamp an old dresser or even a reasonably new one to be a perfect copy cat! Three features I loved about this dresser - the simple clean lines, bold red color and that personalized touch, the monogram in the middle of the top drawer.

The third dresser will give you the inspiration to hunt down that flea market find - Featured in Country Home - March 2008 "Makeover" section - The graceful lines and storage makes this dresser worthy of a quick makeover. There are two perfect shades of yellow on this dresser the darker sunshine yellow was applied to the carved spindles which accents the wood and allows it to "pop". This too, was a quick sand, prime and paint. Add your personal touches with funky hardware or stick to sparkly glass knobs to accent that shade of yellow.

Angie's philosophy is simple: take on projects that are affordable and easily achievable. Look for inspiration in magazines and make the projects your own. Hers are real projects for real people and they don't require you to have a background in art. Test
