With the holidays just around the corner, I have started the enjoyment of baking with the kids.  Since I bake over 12 different varieties of cookies from crispy florentines to moist oatmeal raisin cookies, I always start early and make the dough for two types of cookies and then the next day bake them.  My Mom for years has always dropped on thick slice of green apple into her cookie tins for the moist cookies - it keeps them moist and fresh - changing the apple slice every two days.  No worries, it does not add any additional flavor just simply moisture so that you can wrap up cookies throughout the holiday season!   If you are an avid baker, consider grabbing a bag of Granny Smith's to save the self life of your cookies!  Happy Baking to All!

Angie's philosophy is simple: take on projects that are affordable and easily achievable. Look for inspiration in magazines and make the projects your own. Hers are real projects for real people and they don't require you to have a background in art. Test
