Add a few more organizational tips to your list of things to do by inverting all of your recipes from your recipe box into one binder.  I purchased sports vinyl clear sheets - which are basically  two 4X6 sections per sheet - giving you four slots for 4 recipes.  This makes your recipes splatter proof and easy to wipe off as you master your recipes!  I actually have two binders, two inches each one filled with just desserts and the other with apps, salads, and main dinners.  Keep in mind that you can categorize these binders to your fit.

Now, on to school projects that roll home all year long!  I'm sure your child like mine is the master of all creations when it comes to artwork which has taken over the front panel of your fridge - Here's a great and easy tip - Lay the artwork out on your floor, kitchen table to ticky tack them to the wall - take a few different pictures of the entire collage.  Next, take a few up close pictures of your favorite piece or your child's favorite piece - making each picture into a whole 5 X 7 or even 8 X 10.  Then turn these fabulous pictures into a yearly s**** book - labeling each book First Grade, Second - etc.  Do keep your favorite pieces and have them professionally framed.  Professionally framing them preserves them and will not allow the colors of waterbased paints fade.

Same theory with Tax Donations - take a picture of each pile of clothing prior to bagging them as well as that old coffee pot, couch or linens.  Take pictures of them in groups and save them on a flashdrive or in your picture file on your computer labeled Tax Donations 2011.

And always a great rule of thumb - recycle it.  Contact 1800recycle.com to check on what items and chemicals can be recycled through local centers.

Angie's philosophy is simple: take on projects that are affordable and easily achievable. Look for inspiration in magazines and make the projects your own. Hers are real projects for real people and they don't require you to have a background in art. Test
