We have a great photo ledge arched around our home which is placed about 18 inches from the top of the ceiling line.  This ledge has served us well and we decorate it seasonally and now I was searching for the front part of the ledge to descibe our family with color, initials and dates.  A bit vintage and shabby chic with added color.  I came up with the "Initial" theme and added many great single letters to the ledge along with dates that represent birthdays.  I dug through many different retail stores as well as etsy.com for eclectic letters but had to make due with whatever finish or color was on them.  With Rust-Oleum's Cranberry I was able to paint the letter "J" which added warmth and depth.  For a shabby chic touch, I added Rust-Oleum's Green Apple to the smaller, chunckier piece.  This is where you can pick up that perfect piece, even though it may not be the exact color ...you simply can spray paint your piece with Rust-Oleum's spray paints - available in over 24 colors and a wide variety of finishes!  Check out the Initial Family Ledge!
