Keeping up with the Reduce, Reuse & Recycle programs, I purchased about 2 dozen canvas bag which we use for gift bags, markers and even storing coupons.  As a gift bag, I needed to jazz it up a bit with spray paint.  Figuring I had nothing to  loose - I went for it.  Taping off sections of the bag and spray painting in layers was pretty easy - the paint dried really fast on the canvas allowing me to finish the bag quickly.  Using leftover cans of Painter's Touch 2X I was still able to add a splash of color - love the Gloss Real Orange and Aubergine!   Check how great this Creative Canvas Bag turned out!

The one thing I did learn, you have to be sure that the tape is tight against the canvas when you are spray painting and that you spray from at least 10 inches away.  I let the kids pick the colors for this bag and used it as a gift bag for a birthday party filled a fun gift and topped off with orange tissue paper.  The process itself was easy and I think next time I will line up a dozen or so bags and complete them at once.  I was also thinking of personalizing each Birthday bag with number stencils and spray painting on the inside of the numbers showing their birth dates.

Angie's philosophy is simple: take on projects that are affordable and easily achievable. Look for inspiration in magazines and make the projects your own. Hers are real projects for real people and they don't require you to have a background in art. Test
