This truly is one of those "Easy as 123" projects that even your kids can help create So I decided to try it and see if it falls into that Step One DIYer and yes, it does. My girls and I lightly crushed our cans - sprayed them with Rust-Oleum's Black Gloss paint - allowed them to dry. Using one sheet of black foam we cut out a pair of wings - use your imagination for this one, Emily (who claims not to be artistic) cut out fairy like larger sized wings, added lime green teeth - we decided to purchase one sheet of lime green foam paper as well - and larger sized eyes - made the bat more "googly" - and she even wrote "EEEEK" on the belly of the can - and she says she's not artistic! My other daughter, Abbey - decided to try a different approach - she said she was making a ghost - we sprayed her can white, added gauze to the top of can, wrapping the head and added the same large "googly" eyes - and wrote "BOO" on the belly of the can. Two different looks - both easily achieved with simple materials you can find at home - 2 cans of spray paint, aluminum cans, fishing line to attach your creation to the ceiling, puff paint and a few sheets of foam paper. Triple thumbs up for Project #383 - GONE BATTY!

Angie's philosophy is simple: take on projects that are affordable and easily achievable. Look for inspiration in magazines and make the projects your own. Hers are real projects for real people and they don't require you to have a background in art. Test
