Tall glass vase

Low tack masking tape cut into half-inch strips

Your favorite color pillar or taper candle

Waxed paper

A handful of small rocks

1 can Rust-Oleum Specialty Frosted Glass spray paint

1 can Rust-Oleum Hammered Light Gray spray paint

Head over to your local dime store or card shop and pick up a tall glass vase and a box of your favorite color candles.

Choose a well-ventilated area (preferably outside) and cover nearby objects to protect them from spray mist.

Clean the glass vase. (No fingerprints!!)

Position half-inch strips of masking tape around outside surface of vase, leaving a half inch between each. Paint with Rust-Oleum Specialty Frosted Glass. Follow paint instructions on can, waiting specified dry time. Carefully remove masking tape.

Head out to the backyard or your favorite nature spot and choose some small rocks. After you’ve washed and dried them lay them down on waxed paper and paint them with Rust-Oleum Hammered Light Gray spray paint. Flip them over when the first coat is dry.

Put it all together and set up this elegant vase as a centerpiece for your next romantic dinner or evening get-together with friends.
