If you’re looking for a colorful solution to your storages woes, these Sweet Pea shelves are just the answer!

If your shelves are wooden, lightly sand all surfaces to ensure a smooth finish. Wipe away sanding residue with a tack cloth.

Spread drop cloths and place shelving unit over cloths for painting. Following the directions on the can, prime the shelves and allow to dry completely.

If your shelves have decorative accents or twists like ours do, be sure to get the primer in the crevasses.

To protect the finish of your shelves, lightly spray on one coat of the Stops Rust Clear Protective Enamel.

Tip: Place a small, open box of baking soda behind your towels and sheets. This will keep your linens smelling fresh and reduce mustiness.
