Turn Old Doors into New Doors

It's expensive to throw away your old doors and buy new ones. And it's hard to get the measurements just right. Instead, add panels to your old doors and paint them, for a new, modern look.

Materials

	Base Molding
	Glue
	RUST-OLEUM White Paint
	Measuring tape

Project Steps

	Draw two square on your old door, to represent where you want the two panels to sit. (See my article for full instructions.
	Measure your drawings and add 2.5 inches to allow for the corners of your frame.
	Buy base molding to form the picture frames (panels) that you will glue to the door.
	Cut the base molding and glue the 4 pieces together. Then stick the panel to the old door. (Please see my article for full instructions.
	Paint the panel and door with RUST-OLEUM paint.
	That's it! Enjoy your beautiful new doors.
