We all have left over paints in the house that just take up space in the garage or the kitchen. Put that old paint to good use by using it for popcorn ceiling removal. It's so much easier than using water!

For step-by-step instructions, please read my full article.

Materials
Your leftover RUST-OLEUM paints, or returned paint cans at your home improvement store. In short, paint that will cost you nothing or very little (color doesn't matter).
roller and pole
plastic cover to protect your floor
Project Steps
paint your popcorn ceiling with the leftover paints.
While the paint is still WET, scrape the popcorn layer off the ceiling. It's incredibly easy. The stuff just peels off. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2252995/remove_popcorn_ceilings_with_paint.html?cat=6
You'll need to prime your ceiling next, then paint it. See my other paintideas.com project, about creating a faux tray ceiling on your flat ceiling, or just visit my article: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2230543/change_your_flat_ceiling_into_an_elegant.html?cat=30
