My front yard looks great, and I feel it's time to turn my backyard into a private sanctuary. I've collected a bunch of neat, cheap and easy backyard ideas in an article. Here I'd like to talk about the WHEELBARROW GARDEN.

Materials
RUST-OLEUM, gloss apple red, Craft and Hobby Enamel spray
A rusty old wheelbarrow
potting soil
real plants and silk plants and flowers
Project Steps
Paint your old wheelbarrow with RUST-OLEUM Craft and Hobby Enamel spray. I liked the Gloss Apple Red best. But you can choose from RUST-OLEUM's large array of colors. (I'm thinking semi-gloss Blossom Pink will be stunning).
After the wheelbarrow is dry, bore a few holes at the bottom with a drill.
Spread rich potting soil inside.
Plant your natural plants wide apart, so the roots have room to grow.
Intersperse silk plants and flowers between the life plants, to fill in your garden and to ensure that you will have color year-round.
Place your wheelbarrow garden beside a seating area and enjoy the beauty every time you sit in your backyard.
