By creating a chalk board wall in your kids room, you can encourage creativity and learning. Studies have show that kids communicate at first through drawing, because they still lack the words to express themselves. With Rust Oleum Chalk Board Paint it's a really easy project to make.

Follow the step-by-step instructions in my article: Encourage Creativity in Kids with a Giant Chalk Board

Materials
Painter's tape
Small box to hold non-toxic chalks
Project Steps
Using painter's tape mark the area to be painted. It's cool to create a fun design, like a circle, or three squares stacked at an angle.
Apply Rust Oleum Chalk Board Paint once. Let dry and apply a second coat. Try to keep the coats thin and even.
Hang a box full of non-toxic chalks at child height, near the chalk board wall.
