Magnetic paint is a great way to turn a wall into a giant magnetic board. It's a great way to encourage learning in kids through tactile lessons. Kids can play with the alphabet as they form words on the magnetic board, or they can play with numbers and geometrical shapes. The best part is that Rust Oleum Magnetic Paint can be applied as an undercoat to ordinary paint, so the magnetic wall in essence becomes invisible. Kids just love that!

For step-by-step instructions on how to create this simple kids decor, please read my article: Help Kids Learn with a Giant Magnetic Board

Materials
Paint to match the rest of the walls in the room
Painter's tape
A few boxes to hold the different magnets
Project Steps
Using painter's tape, mark the area that you wish to turn into a magnetic board. It's fun to create shapes like circles or squares stacked diagonally.
Apply Rust Oleum Magnetic Primer inside the area marked with the painter's tape.
Once the primer is dry, paint the wall the same color as the rest of the room, to make the magnetic board invisible.
Hang boxes at child height and fill them with the different types of magnets.
