I love to maximize the artistic effect that mirrors have. Especially in dark areas, mirror wall art creates spots of light.Using a cheap, frameless mirror, I built a frame for it, then used Rust-Oleum frosted spray paint to created faux mullions on the mirror.

I wrote a fun article about how to create your own mirror wall art, with a few other ideas. Here's the one with Rust-Oleum spray paint.

Materials
Cheap, frameless mirror.
base molding to build a frame
RUST-OLEUM frosted spray paint
sheets of paper and tape
Project Steps
To begin with, I wanted to save money on the mirror, so I bought a cheap one and built a frame for it myself, following the instructions in this article.
Next, I drew a French window (mullioned) pattern on the glass with a removable marker. Then I cut a sheet of paper into the size of one of the squares and created eight other squares, for a total of nine.
I stuck the square on the mirror, leaving a grid between them. Then I used RUST-OLEUM frosted spray paint to paint the grid.
Once dry, I removed the papers, and that's it.
