I used a simple Deacon's bench in my kitchen, so serve as my banquette look that I was looking for. My budget at this point has not allowed me to get my built in banquette of my dreams, so I used my current round table, and added the leaf to make it more oblong to add more seating. And this way i could place my newly painted high gloss black Deacon's bench fits perfectly on one side, and my remaining chairs fill around the rest of the table. I have enjoyed my decision to use this old Deacon's bench as my Banquette and it has worked perfectly.
