I love old enamel top tables. I found this table for $40.00 and the chairs were $10.00. So for under $60.00 I made this cute dinette set.

Materials
enamel top table
chairs
Rust -oleum Black Lacquer paint. Rust-Oleum white paint
Project Steps
The table top was rusty and dirty. I took it outside and put a paste of vinger and baking soda and a dash of cream of tarter on it and let it sit
The legs were off so I just used Rust-Oleum black lacquer on them. It gives them a Great sheen. Again done OUTSIDE
On the chairs I used one coat of Rust-Oluem white primer. let dry. Then applied a coat of whtie rust-oleum paint.
When the chairs were dried. I painted just the back of chairs with Rust-Oleum Black semi-gloss.
By now the paste on the table had been sitting for a good hour. Take a spray bottle of water and brush. I use a nail brush with a handle on it. and start scrubbing off the paste. It REALLY cleans the rust and dirt off without damaging the enamel.
Attach the legs
Sit back and enjoy your new table
