Flat black spray paint.

Painters tape

Any preferred design printed off of the Internet and cut into a stencil.

Sponge brush

Clean lamps; remove shades; tape off top where bulb goes, and some of the outgoing cord (for overspray)

Apply two coats of flat black paint.

Using some of the black spray paint, and some white spray paint, mix it together in a cup and using the sponge brush, dab a faint amount of paint over the stencil on the shades.
